Hi. My name is Christopher Foster, and I’ve been a writer all my life, ever since, as a boy of seven in the early days of the London Blitz, I discovered the joy and freedom of writing when I wrote my first story in an old scrapbook.

Bombs sometimes fell all around the apartment block where my mom and I lived in 1940 before I was evacuated (Dad was a war correspondent in India and Burma in the Army) but I found refuge and joy writing about three youngsters exploring an unknown river.

I’m 79 now. I’ve been a reporter, a weekly newspaper editor, editor of an international newsletter, published author of six books (my last book, The Raven Who Spoke with God, a story of a young raven of remarkable integrity, was published in 11 foreign-language editions) and blogger.

But now I have a new passion – I want to help you take your writing to a new level and discover the joys and comfort of writing cyour writing soar, you to be the best writer you can be.

What services do I offer?

I offer assistance, guidance and support for beginning bloggers and for any other writing endeavor. I’m passionate about helping you lose any anxiety you may have about writing and become a strong, effective, graceful practitioner of one of life’s most ancient, magical arts.

Let me help you write with imagination and flair

I can help you polish up the practical aspects of writing, of course, such as grammar, punctuation, how to construct a sentence, and so on. But my specialty is helping you free your imagination, the originality and creative power that gives wings to our writing.

One of my favorite instructors in my own writing journey, a woman named Brenda Ueland, said in her classic book, If you want to write, “Every body is talented, original and has something important to say.”

I believe these words implicitly with every fiber of my being. And if you undertake to share a journey of writing exploration with me I promise I will never let you forget them. Or some other words from the same source: “But we must try to find our true conscience, our true self, the very center, for this is the only first rate choice making center. Here lies all originality, talent, honor, truthfulness, courage and cheerfulness.”

What are my rates?

I offer a free 30-minute initial consultation, followed by your choice of the following: an hourly rate of $75, or a one-month highly personalized consulting and coaching program with unlimited e-mail access for $275 (reduces to $200 for any following month).
