Inner Peace Calling–Want to Talk?

Hi Everyone,

I am so sorry for the delay in sending out a new post. I’m doing my best to keep up with my blog, but I find that I keep running into a strange paradox: I’m 85, for heaven’s sake, been retired a long time, you’d think I’d have all the time in the world wouldn’t you? But no. It doesn’t seem to work that way.  It really doesn’t. Of course, I suppose one reason might be that while I try to be active and productive in the morning, glued in place in my office, I like to keep the afternoon open as much as possible for more leisurely activities like a walk, a visit to my favorite coffee shop, and so on…

I am happy to report this to you, however: I’m author of a new book. It was published as a Kindle eBook at Amazon just yesterday. I plan to add a print version of the book in another two or three weeks.

It’s not entirely a new book, mind you. It’s a revised, expanded, and I believe improved version of an earlier book of mine, ‘The Upside of Cancer.’ Basically, I have taken my original ‘message’ and re-focused it, with some new writing and a new title and cover, so that hopefully it will be relevant and helpful to a larger audience.

The title of this new endeavor is: Inner Peace Calling–Want to talk? The sub-title is: Finding Hope, Courage, and Authentic Happiness in Challenging Times. Here’s a link to the book: https://tinyurl.com/yarduszy

It’s a short book, 34 pages. I’m offering it at Amazon for the low price 99 cents for a week or two as a way to hopefully get my new ‘baby’ off the ground and running.

I would be delighted if you’d like to check out this new title at Amazon, and of course if you would like to write a review, that would be huge. All you need to do to find the book is put ‘Inner Peace Calling’ into the search bar at Amazon, and my book (Kindle version) will come up.

I hope you are doing well, and I send you my love. I want to finish up here with a description of my new book as it appears at Amazon. If you have any thoughts on any of this, please share. I would love to hear from you.

So here is the description:

This “little gem of a book” (Top 100 Amazon reviewer Doug Erlandson) will help you unlock the inner peace that is the very core of our true nature—that has been calling to us for a long, long time.

Yes, life is unpredictable. Who knows what it will throw at us next? But follow the 4 simple steps Foster outlines and you will not only find yourself better equipped to handle life’s challenges when they come along. You will discover an increasing connection with the peace and authentic happiness that dwell deep in our soul and that nothing in this outer world can hurt or destroy.

We live in perilous times. But the peace spoken about in this book has its roots in the Eternal. It is ageless. It is not going to be stopped. It is not going to be defeated. It is our birthright—and though we may never understand it, we CAN experience it.

Christopher Foster, a British-born author, blogger, and cancer survivor, who is in his 80’s, has had his fair share of adversity. He has also, however, made a startling discovery—like many other people: Despite his tribulations, and perhaps because of them, he is happier now than he has ever been.

We can see our challenges as a burden, a punishment, a cause for complaint. But we can also see misfortunes—an illness, perhaps, or a loss—as a catalyst that can help us change, and grow, and awaken more deeply to the truth of our timeless, indomitable spirit.
