It’s time to be free

It’s time to be free.

You don’t have to disguise yourself any more. I don’t have to disguise myself any more.

Turns out a great secret is in process of being revealed in this time of blood and chaos.

We are being given the opportunity by a Universe of Love to acknowledge the truth that we are not mere mortals created of dust and to dust returning.

You are a pure, radiant Spirit with more power in your hip-pocket than you will ever know. I am a pure, radiant Spirit with more power in my hip-pocket than I will ever know.

We are quick to acknowledge our mortality, and that’s fine, nothing wrong with that.

But let us also acknowledge our immortality and be about the work we are here to do in this world. Let us let our light so shine that there is no one who does not feel its presence and no moment is so small or humdrum or filled with pain that it cannot be touched and healed with the power of our love.

Dear Chris- I have repeatedly read this week of what a sad, turmoil our world in in …everywhere across the map. This speaks clearly to those of us who believe we are only here on this earth a short time, in preparation of the hereafter.
You are so right that we are called at this time especially to ‘acknowledge our immortality and be about the work we are here to do in this world.’ The Bible tells us not to keep our light hidden under a basket, but to let it shine for all to see.
This is something you do so eloquently and with such love for all that read your words!’
While sometimes when I think of the end times, it can be frightening, but if we are strong of faith, and embrace the power of love we really have no reason to fear, do we?
God bless you, Chris for this brief but poignant reminder of why we are here.

Many thanks for your comment Sandio, and thank you for your strong, steadfast spirit. It’s good to share this journey with you. Yes, these may be end times, who knows. But they are also beginning times, a rich, rich opportunity to let something new be born through us that has never been born through us before. Love and blessings to you.
PS While I have the chance, I want to mention there was a problem with my blog. It’s been fixed now, but I know that for a little while it was difficult to post a comment to my site.

Dearest friend,
Once again your post resonates with my life at this moment. A few days before this posted I was feeling the absolute freedom of self acceptance, global acceptance, and love for every living creature, including the plants, that we share in this Universe. This came on the heels of a frightening health report. This is a temporary stop, our classroom for the eternal love and energy we are all filled with, and at times do not know how to receive, accept, or give. Before we leave this part of our journey these things will become a part of our souls/spirits.
There is no fear in this next step, because life is eternal, energy is for sharing, belief starts with self.

Marisa, thank you for sharing. As you know, I am with you in your journey and I send deepest love to you. I was at a men’s group meeting the other day and I mentioned at one point in the discussion re my own experience with cancer that if we are not afraid to die, we are not afraid of cancer. It’s strange, but true, isn’t it. One of our tasks I believe while we are in this realm is to face this fear of death that is a such a burden on the human spirit. There’s a saying of Walt Whitman I’ve always enjoyed, “The smallest sprout shows there is no death.” Again, my love and blessings to you.
