Love this article, Chris. I have been very fortunate to have been to many countries. I treasure every person I met, no matter how long we knew each other or how little we know each other. I often think, with so many billions of people on earth, how many can we have the fortune to get to know and to understand. It is a blessing for me to know or talked for a few minutes with every one I met. I often wish them good luck and a good life. Meanwhile I want to thank you, Chris, on this Thanksgiving day in Canada, for posting these beautiful and inspirational articles. I love to read them and they have become part of my life.

With love and repsect,

Thank you for this simple but profound reminder--so timely in my experience today! We have been deluded into thinking that 'big' newsworthy events, or at least ones catching the attention of others in some way, are what carry importance. In the meanwhile, we can overlook the true significance of handling with loving care exactly what the ocean of life washes up on our shores--the heart of practical living and acknowledging the connectedness of all living Beings in the One. It is really HOW I handle the little moments, the little details, that matters, not so much what I need to handle. A simple shift in attitude--miraculous simplicity itself!

Thanks so much for your comment Jill. Your words are lovely and especially your closing words. And thank you for posting the blog on your Facebook page. I hope the young lady found her dog too. "Grand Canyon" sounds interesting. I'll keep it in mind for netflix.

I love this blog Chris. I'm posting it on my Facebook page. It is so so true that miracles happen in the moment, even a stranger knocking on the door inquiring about a lost dog (hope she found it). There was a movie out several years ago, "Grand Canyon" with Danny Glover and Kevin Kline; an unlikely friendship developed from a terrifying experience. At one point, the wife of Kevin Kline's character says (and I paraphrase), "what is miracles are happening every moment and we're just not on hand to see them?".

A kind word, a smile, a soft touch, a phone call, or our noble presence in the midst of chaos. Yes, one truth is in all of us.

Thanks Chris!

Love,
